Stichting Veilige Paardensport heeft afgelopen december het Veiligheidscertificaat verleend aan SBH-Horses. Dit betekent tevens dat SBH-Horses erkend is als officieel leerbedrijf door Aequor. Ben je geïnteresseerd om hier  je stage of het praktijkgedeelte te volgen, neem dan contact met ons op om te kijken naar de mogelijkheden.

Ook in de winter is het mooi in Gaasterland, ons appartement kijkt uit op de Luts, het befaamde knelpunt vanaf Balk. Ondanks dat de tocht (voorlopig) niet door gaat is het hier nog steeds mooi schaatsen. Appartement Bosksicht is ook beschikbaar in deze periode, ontdek Friesland ook in de winter!

From November 28 till December 2nd the first round of the KFPS stallionselection 2012 took place in Ermelo. For SBH-Horses it was a good week, three out of six got an invitation for the 2nd round in January in Leeuwarden, automatically they became 'Ster' because of this. It's about the following three:

Number 043 Filip van Vitikkala (Monte x Olof)  

Nummer 134 Doekle fan "Bosksicht" (Doaitsen x Wicher) 

Nummer 145 Durk van het Horperland (Dries x Fetse)

Last month SBH-Horses has joined two horsefairs in China. In China the popularity of the Friesian horse is growing, that is why Sjoerd Meekma of SBH-Horses attended the China Horse Fair in Beijing from October 13 - 15 oktober and the HORFA in Shanghai from October 28 - 30. Also the KFPS was present to promote the Friesian Horse in China.

 Thursday July 21 one of the Dutch breeding associations (Ta it Bihald) held her first day of selection (Keuring) and our three year old mare Catharina fan "Bosksicht" gained her Ster nomination. She could enter as first one of her group and stayed at that place. She is rewarded with a second Premie.  
Catharina is mare out of Doaitsen and mother Hiske fan "Bosksicht" a first premie Stermare out of Tsjerk. Hiske is successfully breeding in the USA with owners Paul and Julee Kula.

 Wike fan 'e Hoarnst from the Swart family was invited for the Championround of the 4 year and older starmares after gaining her First Premie. The judges like her type with long lines and a lot of racial expression, she has a good walk and a rising trot. The first Premie also means an invitation for the Central Keuring of the KFPS coming September.   

 Wardy fan "Bosksicht" is een 4-jarige merrie van Wikke uit Modelmerrie Nelly fan "Bosksicht" (v. Wicher) die op de keuring zaterdag 23 juli in Garyp het voorlopig Sterpredikaat behaalde. Ze kan dit omzetten naar definitief als ze voldoende punten behaalt op een IBOP of ABFP test. Wardy is gemeten op 1.67 m.

 A first Premie the 2nd of July meant an invitation for the Central Keuring for our filley Gaia Bosksicht on July 21. Gaia is a Westpoint foal out of our dressagemare Belletaire (from sire Uphill) she was not paying much attention to her mother and just went curious around the arena, which meant she didn't show as much as at the previous 'Keuring' (selection) and that she finished the row of seven. For us it didn't really matter, they were all first premie foals!

 Thursday July 7th Kate fan "Bosksicht" is born. Kate is a daughter of sire Uldrik and the 15-year old 1ste Premie Starmare Neenke fan "Bosksicht". Neenke is a daughter out of Klaske Ant, a Star Preferent mare out of Teake and the famous Preferent Modelmare Neenke from line 110.

Last Saturday July 2nd at the KWPN foal selection ('Keuring') our filley Gaia Bosksicht got a first Premie and an invitation for the Central Keuring on July 21st. After the selection of the first group of dressage filleys she could come in as first. The judges were very positive about her trot and canter, walk could have more expression that's why she ended as number three but with an invitation for the Central Keuring! Gaia is a Westpoint x Uphill.
